Why should I exclude weekends while sending out sales emails?
Sending an email to your prospect on a weekend can seldom bring the right results. The ideal time for a B2B email is on the weekdays.

So how can I avoid sending out sales campaigns on weekends?
Sales campaign allows you to opt out of sending emails on the weekends. Whenever you are setting up a Sales campaign click on the “Exclude weekend” checkbox.

How does this feature work in practice?

Classic Campaigns

When “Exclude Weekend” is activated

The chronological day count skips the weekends and counts from the next weekday
Example:
If your campaign commences on a Wednesday (Day 1), Day 3 will be on Friday, but Day 4 will be calculated from Monday.

When “Exclude Weekend” is not activated

The chronological day count continues over the weekends.

Smart Campaigns

When “Exclude Weekend” is activated

The day interval count pauses on the weekend and resumes it from the next weekday.
Example:
If your Smart Campaign commences on a Wednesday and one of the steps of the Smart campaign is defined to scheduled a Call reminder or an Email on Day 4, the upcoming Monday will be considered as Day 4.

When “Exclude Weekend” is not activated

The chronological day count continues over the weekends.
