The entry and exit of leads or contact to a sequence can be defined using entry or exit conditions.
|
- What are entry conditions? How do they work?
Users can define when a lead or contact will subscribe to a sequence by setting entry conditions. These conditions are based on lead or contact property. Whenever these conditions are fulfilled, a lead or contact will be automatically added to the sequence.Note: A maximum of 8 entry conditions can be set. They can be based on “AND” or “OR” filters.
- What are exit conditions? How does a lead or contact exit a sequence?
Leads and contacts can be programmed to exit a sequence based on their lead properties or the sequence flow.
A lead or contact will exit the sequence by default under these scenarios:
- If all the steps are completed
- If the lead unsubscribes by clicking on the Unsubscribe link (Do not disturb field is checked)
- If the emails bounced (Email status is not active).
However, users can also define custom exit conditions based on lead/contact property. Whenever these conditions are fulfilled, the lead or contact will exit the sequence automatically.
A condition that is most commonly used is that whenever a lead or contact replies to any of the emails of sales sequence, the lead/contact exits the sequence. To use this as an exit condition set Last contacted mode = Is replied.Note: A total of 8 exit conditions can be set. They can be based on “AND” or “OR”
Additionally, users can also select Leads or Contacts individually or in bulk and remove them from a sequence. Adding leads/contacts individually:
