The contacts in your LinkedIn profile can be added as leads or contacts in your Freshsales account. 

All you’ve got to do is export your contacts from LinkedIn as a .CSV file and import the file in Freshsales. 


To export contacts from LinkedIn,


Log in to your LinkedIn account and go to the Setting & Privacy page. Learn more about how to export connections from LinkedIn from here.

Your contacts would be exported in a .CSV file.


To import the contacts to Freshsales, 



You can either import your LinkedIn contacts as leads or contacts in Freshsales.


To import as leads,

  1. Login to Freshsales as an Adminstrator.
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Data Import > Leads CSV Import.
  3. In the Import Leads overlay, click Upload your lead CSV file button and choose the .CSV file exported from LinkedIn in your device.
  4. If some of the leads in your LinkedIn profile exist in your Freshsales account and you’d like to update their details, you can select the Update lead records if already exists checkbox.
  5. Click Next
  6. In the Map lead fields overlay, map the columns with the appropriate fields in Freshsales. 


To import as contacts,

Before you go ahead, make sure you already have an Account to which your contacts can be associated or create one

Once you have an Account in place, follow these steps,

  1. Login to Freshsales as an Adminstrator.
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Data Import > Contacts CSV Import.
  3. In the Import Contacts overlay, click Upload your lead CSV file button and choose the .CSV file exported from LinkedIn in your device.
  4. If some of the contacts in your LinkedIn profile exist in your Freshsales account and you’d like to update their details, you can select the Update contact records if already exists checkbox.
  5. Click Next
  6. In the Map contact fields overlay, map the columns with the appropriate fields in Freshsales.
