Freshsales gives you the flexibility to clone email templates. You can perform minor changes on top of the existing template to create a new template that can be used privately or shared with the team.

To clone an email template, follow these steps:

1. Go to Conversations > Email Templates  
   
   

2. Click the  icon associated with the email template that you wish to clone.
   
   

3. Choose Clone and make the necessary changes.

The template name, subject of the email, tags associated with the template, body content and attachments will be cloned. The option to clone is available for both self-created and shared templates; however, cloned templates will be private and should be shared again to intended users.
