To get the best results when creating emails in Freshsales using HTML, follow these guidelines to ensure that HTML code is reproduced into content.
Freshsales regulates the use of HTML tags in the following manner:
- Permitted tags: These tags will be fully permitted and will not be blocked by Freshsales. To find the list of fully permitted tags, please refer to the table below.
- Partly prohibited tags: The usage of such tags will result in the removal of the tag. Any tag that is not a part of the permitted list will be removed. However, the content used along with the tag will be retained. Picture, iframe, and video tags are partly prohibited.
- Fully prohibited tags: When such tags are used, both the content and the tag will be fully removed. Title and Script tags are fully prohibited tags. The usage of either of these tags will lead to the removal of both the tag and the content.

Styling an email:-
- To add styles to your email, you may embed CSS in the style tag. However, the style tag needs to be added as the first tag in the HTML content. This ensures that all email clients will accept the styling.
