Every registered user of Freshsales can send API requests using their unique API key or their respective email address and password. For every API request, a response status code is sent by Freshsales denoting the status of the request. However, there are limits to the number of API requests that can be sent from an account. Freshsales places a cap on the total number of API requests under its fair usage policy.

Our API request limits are tiered based on frequency:- Per hour Limit: This is the maximum number of requests you can make per hour.
- Per minute Limit: The number of requests allowed per minute.
The specific limits for each plan are detailed in the table below.
- Indicator: If the limit is reached, your response status code reads 429 (Too many requests). This limit is on the account level. It is irrespective of the number of users. For all the activities performed through API requests, this limit is applicable.
