Standalone Org Vs Freshworks CRM



  1. Can I move my new Freshworks CRM under standalone Org? 


Solution: Today, we do not have a provision to move FW CRM into a standalone org, this work in progress by the FreshID team. 


However, wise versa is possible. We can move all the standalone products under one tree which is going to be under FW CRM. 


  1. Is it possible to use the same Org name for both Standalone and FW CRM? 


Solution: We cannot have 2 Org URLs under the same name, it should be unique. 


  1. I wanted the same Org name after I mapped my standalone product into FW CRM, is this possible? 


Solution: Before an Org admin takes a decision to move the standalone to FW CRM, we can rename the Org URL in the standalone “Neo Org Center”. For instance, my company name is chennaisuperkings.freshworks.com, then we can update it to chennaisuperkings-champion. Freshworks.com. By renaming the Primarily Org Url will get released from the FreshID database. 


We can then login to FW CRM org, under the “Neo admin center” we can make use of the chennaisuperkings.freshworks.com, by this we can retain the Org URL.  


Note: As always, all the products should fall under the same Datacenter. 


  1. Is it possible to move all standalone Org to FW CRM in bulk or should I have to move each product one by one? 


Solution: As of today, we do not support moving all the standalone products bulk into FW CRM, it’s going to be that each product should be moved individually. 


While moving the product, the Org admin will get a confirmation email, to approve the changes. 


  1. How are the FW CRM accounts getting created? Is it based on the location or IP? 


Solution: We predominantly capture the IPs during the account creation, using which the accounts are getting created under the respective Datacenter. 


  1. Can I move my standalone Freshsales under Omnichannel Org also vice versa is possible?

Solution: Freshsale can be added into Omnichannel Org, however, vice versa is not possible. 


Similar to Freshworks CRM, Omnichannel Freshdesk cannot be brought under FW CRM Org.
