After purchasing phone numbers, you can assign the numbers to individual users or users in a particular territory. Using the numbers assigned to them, they can make calls. 


To assign phone numbers to a user

  1. Login to your Freshsales account as an administrator
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Email and Phone > Phone Settings.
  3. The phone numbers purchased are listed here. By default, the numbers are assigned to “All Users” for all the sales reps in your Freshsales account.
  4. To assign a phone number to an individual, click the Assign To drop down beside the phone number and select the user from the choices listed.



If you have configured territories, you can assign the phone number to users in a territory as well. To do so,

  1. Login to your Freshsales account as an administrator
  2. Go to Admin Settings > Email and Phone > Phone Settings.
  3. The phone numbers purchased are listed here. By default, the number is assigned to “All Territories”. 
  4. To assign the phone number to a specific territory, click the Assign To drop down beside the phone number and choose the territory from the list displayed. 

The number is assigned to all the sales reps in that territory. 



On assigning the phone number, individual users and users in a territory, would receive an email notification after which they can make and receive calls inside Freshsales.
